MEASUREMENT OF THE DIELECTRIC CONSTANT OF TRIGLYCINE SULFATE AT MICROWAVE FREQUENCIES.

Abstract

Described is the construction and operation of a microwave system used to measure very high dielectric constants over wide frequency and temperature ranges. Measurements of the dielectric constant of the ferroelectric triglycine sulfate are reported over a frequency range of 4.0 to 12.0 GHz. The results agree fairly well with those reported by other investigators. Sources of errors and possible improvements in this experiment are discussed. (Author)
