FAR INFRARED STUDIES OF THE HYDROGEN BOND.

Abstract

A brief summary is given of work involving the far infrared spectra of hydrogen bonded acids and alcohols. The hydrogen bond vibrations of these compounds were assignened. In many instances these assignments were used to deduce the hydrogen bond structure of the particular compound involved. (Author)
