CALIBRATION OF NAVY CLASSIFICATION TESTS WITH CIVILIAN INTELLIGENCE TESTS.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the relationships obtaining among scores on certain military classification tests and other selected measures of mental ability for a population of marginally literate Naval personnel. A subsidiary aim was to derive an equation for predicting the score of a marginal sailor on an individual test of mental ability, when given his scores on the battery of Navy classification tests.
