A FOLLOW-UP AND COMPARISON OF THREE GROUPS OF NAVY ENLISTED MEN: MARGINAL-AND-ILLITERATE, MARGINAL-BUT-LITERATE, AND TYPICAL RECRUITS,

Abstract

While the study does not attempt to define the billets that may be filled by personnel with marginal literacy skills, it points out that such personnel successfully adjust to Navy life and are able to perform satisfactorily within the limitations of the billets to which they are assigned. (Author)
