QUALITY REQUIREMENTS OF MOTOR OILS FOR MODERN TRACTOR DIESEL ENGINES

Abstract

Motor oils with additives VNII NP-360, MNI IP-22k, and BFK cannot ensure fully reliable work of modern tractor diesel engines, and oils with TsIATIM-339 and AzNII-7 additives are not suitable for them at all. Contemporary use of Series No. 1-3 oils in modern engines minimizes the carbon and lacquer formation, fouling of piston rings with coke, as well as corrosion due to S-containing fuel, and engine serviceability. Additives were suggested for enhancing of the efficiency of tractor diesel engines.
