INFLUENCE OF SURFACE CONDITION ON MECHANICAL BEHAVIOR OF HIGH STRENGTH STEEL CASTINGS.

Abstract

The research investigated the effect of mold coatings and investment casting on the surface quality of high strength cast steel. Mold coatings were evaluated to determine their effect on surface quality and roughness by light metallographic and electron microprobe analysis. (Author)
