SOME GENERALIZATION OF SIMPLE WAVES. SIMILARITY SOLUTIONS. HELICOPTER STUDY II.

Abstract

By adopting the concept of similarity transformations, a class of boundary value problems of hyperbolic partial differential equations can be solved including the classical simple wave solutions as special cases. The new technique may find important applications in engineering problems of fluid and solid dynamics. (Author)
