RESEARCH PROGRAM IN ACOUSTIC REVERBERATION.
Abstract
Experiments to be carried out in summer and fall of 1970 near Mukilteo, Washington are outlined. The experiments are concerned with gathering data to deduce surface scatter parameters required by Middleton's statistical model for acoustic reverberation. The period of stationarity of the surface scatter will also be investigated. Some experimental results of an examination of the kurtosis of volume reverberation data collected during 1969 are included. A comparison of the experimental results with three theoretical cases is made. (Author)
