POLYQUINOXALINES,
Abstract
Polyquinoxalines are a relatively new class of polymeric materials which exhibit high oxidative, thermal and hydrolytic stability. Preliminary evaluation in structural application has demonstrated that the polyquinoxalines are potentially useful as adhesives, coatings and laminating resins. They are currently being evaluated for application as a high temperature adhesive for titanium. The report constitutes a summary review of linear non-ladder type quinoxaline polymers. It was prepared as an invited lecture presented at the High Temperature Polymer, Reinforcements and Composites Program, Polymer Conference Series, University of Utah, in June 1970. (Author)
