Abstract

The report presents a summary of both the technical and operational evaluation of the AN/TPX-42 Direct Altitude and Identity Readout (DAIR) equipment. It includes a brief description of the system and a statement of the purpose and specific objectives of the effort. Following a statement of the testing and data collection methods employed during the evaluation, the major conclusions are listed concerning the technical suitability, operational capability, controller utility, maintainability, and reliability of the DAIR System.
