STUDY OF COSMIC RADIATIONS AT EXTREMELY HIGH ENERGIES.

Abstract

The three main purposes of the experiment, listed in the original research proposal, have already been achieved. These were to determine the slope of the cosmic ray energy spectrum to 10 to the 21st power eV, to study the arrival directions of very energetic particles, and to study nuclear interactions up to the maximum energy available.
