A SIMPLE MATHEMATICAL MODEL FOR THE ACOUSTIC RADIATION FROM A FREE-FLOODING RING TRANSDUCER.

Abstract

A boundary collocation method is used to obtain the solution for the acoustic radiation from a free-flooding spherical segment. This model is then used as a representation for the radiation from a free-flooding cylindrical transducer. Numerical examples and comparisons with experimental results are presented. (Author)
