APPLICATIONS OF CUMULATIVE DAMAGE IN THE PREPARATION OF PARAMETRIC GRAIN DESIGN CURVES AND THE PREDICTION OF GRAIN FAILURES ON PRESSURIZATION. VOLUME 1 - TEXT

Abstract

The program was designed to accomplish realistically obtainable objectives with the aim that the resulting technology would be immediately useful. The goal was to advance the state-of-the-art in viscoelastic stress analyses and to extend the range of application of the linear cumulative damage relation for solid propellants. The research and development efforts were directed to the development of practical tools for engineering, propellant development and mechanical property characterizations.
