THERMAL REQUIREMENTS FOR AIRCRAFT CABINS.

Abstract

The system integrates physiological tolerance and thermal comfort in terms of permissible duration of exposure, and reduces the environmental basis of reference to two parameters: temperature, and vapor pressure. The thermal standards were formulated specifically for men having the general physical fitness characteristic of Air Force personnel, and performing the duties of a pilot. (Author)
