FACILITIES AND INSTALLATION SUPPORT.
Abstract
The report covers work done in implementing the hardware design described in the master's thesis 'A Time Shared Computing Facility Based on the Librascope L-3055 Data Processing System;. The basic logic design has been implemented using commercial IC logic. Interface level shifters have been constructed using a combination of IC's and discrete components. Cabling has been installed in the central processing unit (CPU) of the L-3055 to connect the time sharing hardware to the system. Preliminary testing has been performed with the time sharing hardware connected to the CPU. The results of these tests indicate that some changes in logic will be required to complete the construction and obtain satisfactory performance. (Author)
