DETECTOR DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

The report describes some recent efforts to study and understand the performance and the noise properties of state-of-the-art Hg(1-x)Cd(x)Te infrared detectors under low background conditions. Particular emphasis has been placed on the study of the low frequency noise properties of these detectors.
