AUTOMATIC TRACKING DEVICE FOR VISUAL ACCUMULATION TUBE ANALYSIS.

Abstract

The report discusses the construction and operation of an automatic tracking device for following the level of sediment in the visual accumulation tube in sedimentation analyses of sands. The device consists of a light beam and photocell tracking assembly which is attached to the recorder mechanism of the apparatus. (Author)
