LUBRICANT FOR BILLETS MADE FROM ALUMINUM ALLOYS FOR COLD STAMPING, FORMING, AND ROLLING,

Abstract

Ths use of an aqueous solution of sulphite-alcohol waste liquid as a binder is well-known in the preparation of casting mixtures in foundry production. The invention involves the use of an aqueous solution of sulphite-alcohol waste liquid for the lubrication of billets of aluminum alloys during cold stamping, forming, and rolling. (Author)
