Abstract

To increase the wear resistance of the built-up metal under abrasive wear, impact load, and high temperature conditions, ferrotitanium 10-20, ferroboron 10-20, and Fe powder approximately 15 percent are added to the wire composition which already contains: graphite 3-5, ferromanganese 1-1.5, Ca-Si alloy 0.5-0.6, and a steel strip the remaining percent.
