LUBRICANT FOR PRESSURE CASTING MOLDS,

Abstract

A lubricant for hot working of metals based on secondary alkylsulfates, graphite, and water is known. In the proposed lubricant, sodium formate and sodium carbonate are added to the given formula which makes it possible to decrease the amount of scrap which brings about the formation of gas bubbles and which also provides greater cleanliness of the casting surface and normal work of the casting machine.
