QUOTIENT UNIFORMITIES.

Abstract

The notion of a quotient topology is entended to uniform spaces, and a quotient uniformity is defined for a uniform space. After the definition is validated its basic properties are investigated and its relation to the quotient topology is discussed. (Author)
