Abstract

Over the 10 year period of the contract, projects included studies of shelf sediments off the Asian coast; bathymetric, geomorphologic, sedimentologic and engineering investigations of submarine canyons, fans and basin floors; clay mineral and silt mineral studies of California Borderland sediments; sedimentary history of contemporary basins; scour processes and inner shelf sand transport mechanisms, and investigation of suspended sediment transport.
