IS UNITED STATES FOREIGN POLICY BEING MILITARIZED,

Abstract

The author holds that U. S. military preparations tend generally to deter and avoid war, and to protect the peace, to a much greater extent than they tend to increase the probability of war. Thus, if there is a danger of overmilitarizing foreign policy, there is also the reverse danger. (Author)
