REPORT OF PROJECT MICHIGAN. SECTION 6A: AN INVESTIGATION OF FACTORS AFFECTING SOUND RANGING: LITERATURE SEARCH AND ANALYSIS.
Abstract
The establishment of a sound-ranging library was completed, and a descriptive summary is presented. The topics discussed in this report are the influence of terrain on the accuracy of sound ranging, an examination of error polygons, comments concerning the summer study group briefings, and plans for the next quarter.
