EVALUATION PROGRAM FOR SECONDARY SPACECRAFT CELLS. SYNCHRONOUS ORBIT TESTING OF GENERAL ELECTRIC COMPANY 6.0 AMPERE-HOUR NICKEL-CADMIUM CELLS,

Abstract

The purpose of the evaluation program was reported in the document to gather performance information concerning sealed nickel-cadmium cells operating under a synchronous orbit regime. Such a regime simulates a space satellite maintaining a position over a fixed point on earth as the earth rotates on its axis and revolves about the sun. (Author)
