SURVEY OF POSITIVE ION SOURCES FOR LUNAR SIMULATION STUDIES,

Abstract

The report gives very brief descriptions of most of the existing types of positive ion sources, listing some of their characteristics, advantages and disadvantages. It is concluded that the radio-frequency source is best suited for lunar simulation studies. (Author)
