ELECTRONIC KEYBOARD CALCULATOR,

Abstract

The SKB 'Tochelektropribor' developed a desk-type keyboard calculator for accounting purposes which can add, subtract and shift automatically, and multiply semiautomatically. The calculator comprises two registers, a digit switch, an adder, a shift unit, a control unit, an input unit, and a display. The registers are designed with pulse-position multistable elements based on a synchronized multivibrator. The adder contains a pulse-position decade which has a pulse-position-to-number-of-pulses converter at its input. An experimental model of the calculator comprises 1200 parts, among which are 150 transistors and 300 diodes; dimensions, 380 x 230 x 110 mm; weight, 7 kg; consumption, 15w.
