POLYPYRAZINOQUINOXALINES FROM TETRAAMINOBENZENE AND BIS(PHENYLGLYOXALOYL)BENZENES,

Abstract

Two new high temperature stable, soluble polymers were synthesized by the reaction of tetraaminobenzene with bis(phenylglyoxaloyl)benzenes. The polymers were characterized and some of their thermal, solubility, and dielectric properties were determined. Both have decomposition temperatures in vacuum of 520C, but their thermal-oxidative stabilities are not as high as found for a phenylated polyquinoxaline that we had previously made. Their stabilities at 400C in air are comparable to that of 'H film.' (Author)
