Abstract

The report brings together short reports on the research of all faculty affiliated with the Materials Research Laboratory at the Pennsylvania State University. The survey covers, but is not limited to, the research supported by the Advanced Research Projects Agency. It singles out certain classes of materials receiving special attention as follows: Preparation of materials, Characterization of materials, Properties of materials, Noncrystalline solids including glasses, Solid state geoscience and biosciences.
