AN APPLICATION OF FLETCHER-POWELL OPTIMIZATION TECHNIQUE TO BLAST THEORY,

Abstract

The Fletcher-Powell optimization procedure is used to obtain a constrained least-squares approximation to discrete pressure-time data. The data were obtained from a finite difference analog of the non-steady flow equations describing axisymmetric flow impinging upon a rigid wall. (Author)
