SONAR DETECTION OF SUBMARINES BY HELICOPTER.

Abstract

The report advises the military services concerning means for improving the efficiency of the search technique of sonar operators and crew members involved in searching for submarines by means of helicopter-borne equipment. Measures are also suggested for protecting the hearing of the sonar operator and the crew of the helicopter. (Author)
