Abstract

The report consists of two chapters of an unfinished book, 'Khimiya Morya' ('Marine Chemistry'). It discusses the salt composition of ocean waters, salinity and the composition of salts in sea ice in relation to processes of phase transitions and formation of ice from sea water as a complex solution.
