ELECTRONIC CHARGE DISTRIBUTION IN CRYSTALS OF THE DIAMOND STRUCTURE FROM X-RAY DIFFRACTION INTENSITIES.

Abstract

A new method was developed, and computer programs were written for evaluating and plotting the electronic charge density in crystals of the diamond structure from x-ray diffraction form factors. Present calculations are restricted in the (110)-plane of diamond. This treatment is also applicable to Si, and it can be extended to other planes. (Author)
