Abstract
The goal of the conference was to exchange information on theoretical and scientific-experimental research in the area of automation and mechanization of cartographic editorial-preparatory, compiling and publishing work and to work out suggestions on co-ordinating scientific-research activities in the higher educational institutions and organizations in this area of cartographic science and production. Reports devoted to general scientific-technical problems are discussed. (Author)
