PATTERN THRESHOLD RECOGNITION DEVICE.
Abstract
The objective of the contract is to develop a camera-tube utilizing an electro-statically focused image-tube input section, a flood gun for cancelling out ambient information, a storage-target capable of going over the first cross-over only when the threshold set by the flood-gun is exceeded, and an all electrostatic vidicon-type gun which will be used to scan the reverse side of the storage-target and generates an output signal only at discrete points on the storage-target whose potential exceeds the first crossover potential.
