THE CHEMISTRY OF POLYMERIC INORGANIC CEMENTING MATERIALS,

Abstract

The book is an attempt at presenting the fundamentals of the chemistry of several inorganic compounds from the general theoretical standpoint of polymer chemistry. A detailed examination is made of the polymers of silicon and aluminum present in nature and used in construction as cementing materials. It is shown that it is precisely polymeric transformations that to a significant extent determine the properties of cements. (Author)
