A PROPOSED REAL-TIME MONITOR AND DATA ANALYZER FOR AN AMERICAN COMMODITY EXCHANGE.

Abstract

The thesis considers the application of real-time digital information systems to the field of professional trading of commodities. Pertinent factors involved with the interfacing of a monitor system with a commodity exchange, and with professional trading interests, are considered. Skeletal functional outlines of factual and predictive displays are proposed from the monitoring of a general market environment to the monitoring of specific user positions in that environment. Only the acquisition, summarization and presentation of objective information are considered. (Author)
