UNITED STATES MILITARY INVOLVEMENTS SINCE 1775 MODELED AS A MARKOV PROCESS.

Abstract

Unclassified historical data concerning the United States involvement in military conflicts is used to model the behavioral patterns of the past as a Markov Process. The stochastic properties of the model are calculated and their usefulness as tools in the study of cost-effectiveness is discussed. (Author)
