A FORTRAN PROGRAM FOR OBTAINING APPROXIMANTS TO REAL-VALUED FUNCTIONS,

Abstract

A FORTRAN program is described by which systematically better approximants to a given real-valued function f(T) over 0 = or < T = or < infinity can be obtained. The program automatically generates these approximants once the user has provided the first K coefficients of the small T expansion for f(T) and the first M coefficients of the large T expansion. A punched FORTRAN deck for the desired approximant to f(T) is generated. (Author)
