PHYSICAL CONCEPTS IN ULTRASONIC LIGHT DIFFRACTION,

Abstract

The physical concepts involved in the diffraction of light by ultrasonic waves are discussed. Also, a specific form of the Laser-Acoustic delay line is discussed, and the general principles of doppler frequency shifts due to motion within the device are presented. (Author)
