INTERIM REPORT ON THE STUDY OF PHOSPHORS UNDER HIGH-ENERGY BOMBARDMENT.

Abstract

Cathodoluminescent phosphors were investigated for light-output response under high-electron-beam voltages and extreme power input. Experimental equipment and test procedures were developed for measurement of phosphor brightness, spectral-energy distribution and efficiency under extreme excitation conditions until phosphor degradation occurred. An analysis of the response was made. (Author)
