THE TIME SPECTRA OF CERTAIN CHARACTERISTICS OF THE ATMOSPHERE ABOVE THE OCEAN (Vremennye Spektry Nekotorykh Kharakteristik Atmosfery nad Okeanom),

Abstract

Spectra of the fluctuations of the air temperature, atmospheric pressure and wind velocity in the near-sea layer of the Atlantic Ocean have been plotted. For this purpose data from weather ships and meteorological stations on islands have been used. An analysis of the spectra is given and the variation of the spectra according to the region of the ocean is examined. (Author)
