INVESTIGATION OF LIGHTWEIGHT 40 INCH X 48 INCH WAREHOUSE AIR LIFT PALLET.
Abstract
Current 40 inches x 48 inches warehouse wooden pallets procured under present military specifications are not compatible with air mode operations and air cargo handling equipment, due to roller transfer. The Tactical Air Command issued a Required Operational Capability to find a pallet that would be compatible with the air mode. This study compares various pallets to determine which pallet is most suitable to meet TAC's needs. (Author)
