TABLES OF TOROIDAL HARMONICS, III: FUNCTIONS OF THE FIRST KIND--ORDERS 0-10.

Abstract

The report contains eleven-figure tables of the Legendre function of the first kind (P sub (n-1/2), sup m)(s) for integral values of n and m. It is a continuation of the previous two volumes which gave values of the functions of the second kind, (Q sub (n-1/2), sup m)(s) also for integers n and m. As in the previous tables, the argument s is given directly and also as cosh eta. The tables are so constructed that the degree n-1/2 covers the same range as in the previous reports. (Author)
