ON THE THEORY OF POLARIZATION TRANSFER IN INHOMOGENEOUS MAGNETIZED PLASMAS,

Abstract

The theory of polarization transfer in an inhomogeneous magnetized plasma medium is extended to include the effects of the modecoupling phenomenon. The resultant system of polarization transfer equations is analyzed for several special cases of interest. (Author)
