PARAMETERS OF HUMAN PATTERN PERCEPTION.

Abstract

The report is the sixth semi-annual progress report on a research program an parameters of human pattern perception. Empirical developments during this period have included: The successful application of multivariate techniques to the study of feature selection, and further specification of the effects of knowledge of results and temporal context on pattern recognition performance. Methodological and empirical results from the laboratory have been extended to the areas of individual difference testing and discrimination of polygraph recordings. (Author)
