AN ANALYSIS OF THE GEOGRAPHIC AND SOCIO-ECONOMIC ORIGINS OF THE 1969-70 CLASS OF THE COMMAND AND GENERAL STAFF COLLEGE,

Abstract

The document reports on a study which tested the correctness of the following hypotheses: The Army leaders of the future will come from predominantly small town, lower-middle class, protestant homes; a disproportionate number, when compared with the US population distribution, will have Southern affiliations, and the majority will consider themselves politically conversative. The amount of correctness, as indicated by the results, is discussed. (Author)
