WAKE CURVATURE AND THE KUTTA CONDITION.

Abstract

The outer potential problem for attached flow at incidence past a thin flat plate is set up with a vortex sheet to represent the wake, leading to a singular integro-differential equation for the mean slope of this sheet. Solution yields a correction to the Kutta Joukowski circulation. (Author)
