TESTING FOR AN ORGANIC SUPERCONDUCTOR,

Abstract

A very brief review is given of some of the theories on semiconducting polymers before describing new observations on the magnetic susceptibility of various dyes, sugars, aromatics, and polymers which were undertaken to test for any unusual diamagnetism indicating a Meissner effect. No superconductive properties were found.
