Abstract

The survey was conducted to identify all existing equipment and procedures capable of accomplishing recommended improvements in the Armed Forces Entrance and Examination Stations (AFEES) physical examination. This survey classifies the alternative devices or procedures which should be considered for each AFEES medical function in order of estimated merit based upon such factors as cost, reliability, maintainability, personnel requirements, data handling requirements, and resistance to malingering.
